Frequently Asked Questions

How long are files stored?
Files are stored only until the selected timer expires (1 minute to 6 hours).

Can files be recovered after expiration?
No. Expired files are permanently deleted, and encryption keys are discarded at the same time, so recovery is not possible.

Do you store uploader-identifying logs?
No. Fornever does not retain uploader-identifying personal information in service logs.

What is deleted at expiration?
Encrypted file data and encryption keys are permanently deleted together, so restoration is not possible.

Can administrators intervene in deletion timing?
No. Registration, expiration, and deletion are handled by automated bots, and administrator intervention is not available.

What does unique-view limit do?
When the number of users who opened the link reaches the threshold, new access is blocked. Even before timer expiration, additional access becomes unavailable once the limit is reached. Actual file deletion still follows the expiration timer.

Can messenger preview bots access files?
Messenger and web preview systems may open links in advance to cache thumbnails, so this behavior is restricted by policy as much as possible. Known preview bots are also excluded from unique-view counting where possible.

What can I upload?
Images, MP4, MOV, AVI, and MPEG-TS are supported up to 40MB per file.

Is service availability always guaranteed?
The application server is in Asia and the file server is in Singapore, so availability may vary depending on regional network conditions.
